Baycorp supports Privacy Awareness Week

Privacy is valuable and worth protecting as it is a vital part of who we are – Baycorp supports this and is a partner for Privacy Awareness Week.

Privacy is valuable and worth protecting as it is a vital part of who we are – Baycorp supports this and is a partner for Privacy Awareness Week, which in New Zealand is from 9 - 14 May and Australia is from 15 - 21 May.

The theme for Privacy Awareness Week 2016 is privacy in your hands, says Acting Australian Information Commissioner, Timothy Pilgrim.

“For businesses and government agencies this means that privacy is part of good governance and made a key priority. For individuals, it means understanding your rights, making choices and taking charge of your privacy in the digital age.”

If you haven’t made the time to stop for a moment and check Baycorp’s privacy policy – make it a priority this week by looking here and understanding how we work with you: www.baycorp.co.nz/privacy#privacy or http://www.baycorp.com.au/privacy

Our clients can be confident that Baycorp has the appropriate systems and processes in place to ensure privacy, be it their privacy or their customers’ privacy, is protected. You can also be assured that we, as a partner to our clients, comply with the privacy laws across Australia and New Zealand.

“Privacy is not secrecy. It is about giving individuals control over how their personal information is handled; creating customer confidence and trust. As such, good privacy practices and great innovation directly support each other.”
